This is the page for Takeda employees who redeem their Calm Premium subscription using the SSO link. If you were told to redeem using a Group Code, please refer to this page.
How to redeem your subscription as a Takeda employee
Redeeming via the Calm app:
If you already have a Calm account, please log in to the app using your email address and password.
If you are a new user, download the Calm app for free using one of the links below and create a Calm account using a personal email address.

Once you are logged in to the Calm app, please select Profile on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

Select the gear symbol ⚙️ on the top left-hand corner of the screen. This will take you to your Settings menu.

Once you see Settings at the top of the screen, select Link Organization Subscription.

Type takeda when prompted to enter your organization's name and select it from the drop-down menu. Hit Continue.
- At this point, you will be redirected to another website to validate your eligibility.
- Once you complete Step 5 above, you should now see a success page verifying that you have redeemed Calm Premium. When you click on the Home button, the Premium content should now be unlocked.
Redeeming via the web:
- Navigate to your company's internal website here and log in as an employee.
- Follow the subsequent prompts to log in to your existing Calm account (or create a free Calm account if you don't already have one) to activate your Calm subscription.
- Once you've logged in or created a new Calm account, your subscription provided by Takeda should automatically be added.
Do I have to enter my credit card information?
No. When redeeming your subscription through Takeda a credit card or payment details should not be required. If you are asked to provide a payment detail, please reach out to the Calm's Support team directly by going here and selecting 'Submit a Request' at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
What if I have issues activating my subscription or when logging into the app?
If you are experiencing issues validating your Takeda credentials during the activation process, then please open a service ticket with the Takeda IT department to confirm you are using the correct credentials.
If you are able to validate your Takeda credentials and are experiencing issues activating Calm or not seeing your Calm account upgraded, please reach out to the Calm's Support team directly by going here and selecting 'Submit a Request' at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
Can I redeem the benefit if I already have a paid subscription or free trial on my account?
You can redeem the subscription from Takeda once your current paid subscription or free trial has been canceled. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this, please view our help center article: How to Cancel Your Subscription or Free Trial
I've signed up for my Calm subscription through my Takeda account, but the Calm Premium content is still showing up with a locked symbol. What are my next steps?

If you have any further trouble accessing Calm's premium content, please write to our Calm’s Support team directly by going here and selecting 'Submit a Request' at the top right-hand corner of your screen. Please, provide a screenshot of the locked content, along with the email address on your Calm account.
How can I share my Calm benefit with my dependents?
Takeda employees can invite up to 5 family members or friends to receive free access to Calm Premium as a dependent. To learn more about sharing this benefit with your dependents, please follow the steps here.
Once you have shared your invitation link with your chosen dependents, they can redeem their access to Calm Premium by following the steps here.
Is Calm available in different languages? How do I update my language?
At this time, Calm is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, and Japanese. We are excited to expand our language options in the future! You can let us know what language you'd like to listen to Calm in by answering our survey here.

Does Takeda have access to my personal information?
No. Takeda will not have access to your personal information or direct usage of content. Takeda will receive aggregate level metadata on the types of content (i.e. meditation, masterclass, breathing sessions) that’s being used to understand utilization trends and to help identify additional wellbeing programming for future consideration.
