I received an email offering me a promotional discount for Calm Premium. How do I redeem this?
If you received an email offering a discount, you should see a button labeled “View Offer”. Simply click or tap this button and you should be directed to a purchase page displaying the discount price.
When I follow the link to use the discount, I'm logged in as someone else. What should I do?
This can happen if you are following a link that was emailed to a different Calm user, then forwarded to you. Please only use discount links sent to the email address on your Calm account, otherwise, the discount will not be correctly applied to your account.
I followed the promotional link in my email, but I am not seeing a discounted price on the payment page. What should I do?
You may be opening the link through our app. This discount is only available through the Calm website. To ensure that you are opening the link through our website, please try the following options:
- Open the link with a desktop computer using a web browser; we recommend using Google Chrome.
- Open the link within your email on your phone by tapping and holding the link until a list of options appears. Select the option "Open in New Tab".
- Open the email through an email application such as the Gmail app and tap the link.
How can I get a discount for Calm Premium?

I heard about a promotional discount for Calm on a podcast. How do I redeem it?
To redeem a discount that was announced during a podcast, simply navigate to the promotional web page announced on that podcast. It will usually be in a format similar to: calm.com/podcastname.
Do I need to create a new account to use a promotional discount?
No. You do not need to create a new account in order to use the discount. You just need to make sure you’re signed in to your existing Calm account, and please make sure this account does not currently have an active subscription.
I already have a subscription. Can I take advantage of the discount?
Please note: we do not offer any rebates or refunds on subscription purchases beyond 30 days of purchase. If you've previously purchased a subscription to Calm, you can cancel your current subscription and use the discount to make a new subscription purchase at the end of your current billing period. Can I use the discount to extend my current yearly subscription?
No. Our promotional discount on a yearly subscription is designed for Calm users who do not already have an active subscription. Using this offer will not extend your current Calm subscription's expiration date by 1 year. Instead, it will activate a new subscription starting on the date of purchase, and will subsequently expire 1 year from the date of purchase. We are unable to change the expiration date of your subscription.
I activated a 7-day free trial through the app or website, and want to purchase Calm with a promotional discount.
If you have activated a free trial, you'll first want to cancel the free trial to avoid being charged the full price of a yearly subscription at the end of the trial period. Please see this article for more details about how to cancel your free trial.
Once you've canceled the free trial, wait until the trial period has ended and the free trial access has expired. You can then subscribe using the promotional discount link you received.
Can I use the discount to buy a gift card for someone?
No. At this time, we are not able to apply a subscription discount to gift cards.
Can I use the discount to purchase a Family Plan?
No. At this time, we are not able to apply a subscription discount to the purchase of a Family Plan.
I've just purchased a subscription using a discount offer, but I am still seeing locked content.
