When you subscribe to Calm Premium, your subscription is tied to the payment method provided at the time of purchase. Here is a breakdown of how our different subscription plans are billed.
⚠️ Subscriptions Auto-Renew
Unless you actively cancel your subscription beforehand, all monthly and annual plans are set to automatically renew at the end of each billing period.
Billing by Plan Type
-
Annual Subscriptions: You are billed one upfront payment (plus applicable taxes) for the entire year at the time of purchase.
Free Trials: If you sign up for an annual plan with a 7-day free trial, your payment method will be charged the upfront annual fee at the very end of the trial period.
Calm Premium Family Plans: Similar to our standard annual plans, the Family Plan is billed as one upfront payment (plus applicable taxes) for the full year.
Monthly Subscriptions: You are billed once per month on the calendar date you initially subscribed.
Lifetime Memberships: You are charged a single, one-time payment (plus applicable taxes) at the time of purchase. Lifetime memberships never expire and do not auto-renew.

Google Play Store (Android): Billed to the primary payment method connected to your Google Play account.
Calm Website (Direct): Billed directly to the credit card, debit card, or PayPal account you entered during checkout on calm.com.
