Calm is available on a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and select smart devices. This article outlines which platforms are fully supported and which may offer limited functionality.
Mobile devices
Calm is compatible with:
- iOS devices on iOS 17 and above, such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac
- Android devices on Android OS 8.1 and above, such as smartphones and tablets with a web browser
The Calm app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If you're in a region without access to these stores, you can still use Calm in a mobile browser at calm.com.

Computers and Web Browsers
You can access Calm on a computer by visiting calm.com using a supported web browser, such as Google Chrome or Safari. Calm is not compatible with Internet Explorer.
Smart TVs and Smart Home Devices
Calm is available on certain smart devices and third-party platforms. However, features may be limited, and login or syncing is not always supported.
- Apple TV: A limited selection of Calm content is available through the Apple TV App Store. You do not need to log in to use the app on Apple TV. Login is not supported, so syncing with your Calm account is unavailable. Learn more about Calm on Apple TV.
- Apple HomePod: Some Calm content can be streamed to Apple HomePod using Apple’s AirPlay feature. Login and syncing are not supported, and the Calm app is not directly integrated with Siri. For setup help, see Apple’s AirPlay instructions.
- Google Home: Calm is no longer supported through Google Assistant voice commands. However, you can still stream Calm content by casting audio from your mobile device to your Google speaker using the Google Home app.
- Google Chromecast: Calm is compatible with Google Chromecast. You can cast your favorite meditations, Sleep Stories, and music directly from the Calm mobile app to your Chromecast-enabled TV or display.
- Spotify: A selection of Calm content is available on Spotify. You can log in with your Spotify account, but Calm login and syncing are not supported. See Calm through Spotify.
Smartwatches
- Apple Watch: Calm is available on Apple Watch OS6+ with limited functionality. You can play daily content, track mindful minutes, and view recent sessions. Login and syncing are not supported. Learn more about Calm on Apple Watch.

Additional Information
- Older Devices: Devices running iOS versions below 17 or Android OS versions below 8.1 may experience issues running Calm due to limited internal memory and reduced compatibility.
- Not supported: Calm is no longer supported on Sonos, Samsung TV or Alexa-enabled devices. Calm also does not support Gabb devices running Gabb OS.
