Calm-Compatible Devices

What kinds of devices can I use with Calm?

The Calm app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play store and is compatible with most iOS (Apple) and Android mobile devices. If you have a smartphone or tablet that does not support one of these app stores, you can still access our full library of content through your mobile browser at calm.com. You can also access our full website from a computer at calm.com (please note: Calm is not compatible with Internet Explorer).

Calm with Bluetooth

Though the way our audio files load and play in the app is not optimized for Bluetooth, most users are able to play our background Scenes and meditations without error. Simply connect the device playing Calm to a Bluetooth-enabled audio device (such as a Bluetooth speaker) as you normally would.

Calm with Smart Watches, Smart TVs, and other Smart Home devices

A limited Calm experience can also be accessed via Spotify, Samsung TV, Apple TV, Google Home, Sonos, Apple Watch, and Wear OS (formerly Android Wear).

Calm on older devices

Apple devices running below iOS 16 and Android devices running below AndroidOS 8.1 may experience issues running Calm due to the limited amount of internal memory available. Please reach out to our support team here for more information on this.
