If your Calm Health sponsorship through your healthcare provider or employer ends, you can still access your Calm Health account and data.
When you log in to the Calm Health app or website, you'll see a screen notifying you that your Calm Health sponsorship has expired. From this screen, you can:
- Update your sponsorship: Add new sponsor details, if applicable.
- Log out: Safely exit your account. Your data stays intact, and you can log back in at any time to choose one of the other options below.
- Delete your account: Permanently delete your account and data.
- Convert your account: Switch to an unsponsored experience of Calm Health.
How do I update my sponsorship?
If you have a new healthcare provider offering a Calm Health sponsorship, select Have a new sponsor? from the home screen in the app or website and follow the prompts. For detailed instructions, see How to Change Your Sponsor for Calm Health.
What does it mean to convert my account?
Converting your account switches you from an expired sponsorship to an unsponsored experience of Calm Health. You'll keep access to your account and data, along with partial access to any clinical programs you're currently enrolled in. Some in-app features will be limited under the unsponsored experience.
How do I convert my account?
Select Convert Account at the bottom of the expired sponsorship screen. You'll be shown an authorization and consent screen; confirm your consent to proceed. Once conversion is complete, you'll see a success screen.
What happens if I delete my Calm Health account?
Deleting your account is irreversible. You'll lose access to your Calm Health data and records permanently. For more information, see Deleting Your Calm Health Account.
