⚠️ Important: You cannot use your standard mobile device camera app to scan the login QR code. You must download and use a dedicated authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Okta Verify) to complete this setup and avoid being locked out of your account.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for all Calm Partner Portal Admins. To log in, you will need to verify your identity using a third-party authenticator app.
First-Time Setup: How to Scan the QR Code
When you launch the Partner Portal and enter your email and password for the first time, a Secure Your Account screen will appear displaying a QR code.
Choose one of the supported authenticator apps below to complete your setup:
Option A: Google Authenticator Setup
Download the Google Authenticator app from your device's app store: Download for Android or Download for iOS.
Open Google Authenticator and tap the + (plus) icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Select Scan a QR code and scan the QR code displayed on your Calm Partner Portal screen.
Your app will generate a temporary 6-digit code. Enter this code into the portal screen and click Continue.
(Optional) Check the box for Trust this device to log in faster next time.
Option B: Okta Verify Setup
Download the Okta Verify app from your device's app store: Download for Android or Download for iOS.
Open Okta Verify and tap the + (plus) icon at the top of your screen.
Select Organization, then tap Skip when prompted to "Add Account from Another Device".
When asked "Do You Have Your QR Code?", select Yes, Ready to Scan, and scan the QR code on your Calm Partner Portal screen.
Your app will generate a temporary 6-digit code. Enter this code into the portal screen and click Continue.
(Optional) Check the box for Trust this device to log in faster next time.
Using a different MFA app? If your organization uses another authentication tool and you need assistance, please Contact Calm Support. Tap Submit a Request in the bottom right-hand corner, and include your Partner Name and the name of the app you are using.
Returning Users: Logging In with MFA
Every time you log into the Calm Partner Portal moving forward, you will be prompted to enter a new 6-digit verification code.
Open your chosen authenticator app on your mobile device.
Search or look for the entry labeled calm-partner-portal.
Copy the current 6-digit code shown in the app.
Enter this code on your Calm Partner Portal login screen to complete your login.
Troubleshooting: MFA Code Errors
If the 6-digit code you entered is rejected, please verify the following:
Expiration: Did the code refresh before you finished typing it? Ensure you enter the code while it is still active in your app.
Account Match: Verify you are looking at the specific code labeled calm-partner-portal (and not an MFA code for a different account).
Device Clock: Ensure your mobile device's system time is set to update automatically and matches your local time zone exactly. Code generation relies heavily on precise time syncs.
