Important: You must click the invitation link and accept the invite using a web browser (like Safari or Chrome). You cannot redeem the initial invitation inside the Calm mobile app.
If an employee has shared their Calm benefit with you, you will receive an invitation link either via an email notification or directly from the employee.
Follow these steps to activate your account:
Step 1: Accept the invitation
Open the email notification or the direct link provided by the employee.
Click the Accept Invite button or link. This will open your web browser.
Step 2: Log in or create an account
Once the web browser opens the Calm portal, follow the on-screen prompts:
If you already have a Calm account: Log in with your existing email and password.
If you are new to Calm: Click Create an Account and follow the registration steps.
Troubleshooting: What if I already have a subscription?
If you currently have an active Calm Premium subscription, the dependent benefit cannot override it automatically. You must cancel your current billing first.
Cancel your active subscription by following the steps in How to cancel my subscription.
Wait for your current billing cycle to end (your account will revert to the free version).
Return to your invitation link and follow the steps above to redeem your free access as a dependent.
