I already have a subscription to Calm Premium. How do I switch to redeem Calm Premium as a dependent?
Current Calm users can switch to becoming a Dependent on an employee's Calm Business benefit at any time, without losing their saved favorites, downloads, or session history. To do this, you must first cancel your existing subscription by following the steps here. After you do that, you will now be able to redeem Calm Premium as a dependent. Once you have been added as a dependent, you'll receive an invite link in an email notification or directly from the employee who has been provided the Calm Business benefit. Please be sure to accept the invite by clicking on the "Accept Invite" button. Please note, that this must be done within a web browser and not the Calm app itself.
Now that Calm is provided to me for free as a dependent, can I receive a refund for my previously purchased yearly subscription?
We’ll be happy to offer a refund for yearly subscription purchases that were made within 30 days through the calm.com website or the Google Play Store. However, we are unable to issue refunds for purchases that are older than 30 days.
Customers who subscribed to Calm through the Apple App Store will need to reach out to Apple directly with any refund requests. They are typically able to honor all refund requests within 30 days of the purchase date (but it's at their discretion). You can contact Apple Customer Support directly at https://getsupport.apple.com/.
To learn more about our refund policy and how to request a refund, please view the following Help Center article: Receiving a Refund
Who can join as a dependent?
Each employee can invite a select number of family members or friends to receive free access to their Calm Business benefit as a dependent. Please note that dependents must be 16 years of age or older.
Do all dependents share a single Calm account or do we each get our own account?
Each dependent has their own Calm account and they log in to their account using a unique email address and password. Session history, stats, check-ins, and other personal information tied to a Calm account are not shared between dependents or with the employee.
