How to Purchase a Monthly Subscription

Monthly subscriptions can be purchased through the Apple App Store or the Google Play store.

Purchasing a Monthly Subscription Through the App Store (iOS)

1. Begin your free trial through your Calm app by tapping a locked item and following the instructions on the page.
2. Once the free trial is active, head back to your Calm app.
3. Next, cancel your free trial to prevent it from charging for a yearly subscription at the end of the free trial. Tap the 'Profile' button on the home screen, and select the 'Settings' icon in the upper left corner. In 'Settings', please tap 'Manage Subscription'. On the page that appears, tap the word 'here'. If you do not see these menu options, please be sure your app is updated to version 4.2 or higher.
4. You will now be redirected to your phone's App Store account settings. Once there, you should see the Calm subscription listed with an option to cancel. If you have any trouble canceling or locating this spot in settings, please follow the instructions found here. 
5. Once your trial period ends (at the end of 7 days), the premium content on the Calm app will lock. By tapping a locked item, a page of subscription options will appear with a monthly subscription option on the far left. Tap this icon to begin your monthly subscription.

Purchasing a Monthly Subscription Through Google Play (Android)

1. Begin your free trial through your Calm app by tapping a locked item and following the instructions on the page.
