Method 1: The Fastest Way (Via the Calm Website)
The easiest way to purchase a monthly subscription without any waiting period is directly through our website.

Answer a few quick questions to help us tailor your Calm experience.
At checkout, you will be presented with our available subscription options. Simply select the Monthly (or Quarterly) plan and complete your purchase!
Once purchased, simply log in to the Calm app on your mobile device using the same email address, and your Premium access will unlock.
Method 2: Purchasing via the Calm App (iOS & Android)
If you prefer to purchase directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the process requires a few extra steps.
What to Know Before You Begin
Because all new in-app free trials default to an annual subscription, purchasing a monthly plan via the app is a multi-step process. You must first start a free trial, immediately cancel its auto-renewal, and then wait for the trial to end before the monthly option becomes available.
Follow the instructions below for your specific device.
How to Purchase on Apple (iOS)
(Note: Please ensure your Calm app is updated to version 4.2 or higher to see these menus).
Step 1: Start and Cancel the Free Trial
Open the Calm app and tap any locked Premium item to begin your 7-day free trial.
Once the trial is active, you must immediately cancel it so you are not charged for a yearly plan. Tap Profile on your home screen, then tap the Settings (gear icon) in the upper left corner.
Tap Manage Subscription.
Tap the word 'here' to be redirected to your phone's Apple App Store subscription settings.

Step 2: Wait and Purchase the Monthly Plan
Wait for your 7-day free trial to completely end. Once it expires, the premium content in your Calm app will lock again.
Tap any locked item in the app. A page displaying subscription options will appear.
