If you paid for Calm Premium but your account still shows “locked” content, you’re likely logged into a different account than the one that has your subscription. This guide will help you identify the correct account and regain Premium access.
Why This Happens
This issue usually occurs when:
- You purchased Calm using one email, but logged in with a different email.
- You created multiple Calm accounts without realizing it.
- You logged in using Apple or Google login instead of the email used at purchase.
- You’re using a work or school email that isn’t the one tied to your subscription.
Step 1: Confirm Where You Purchased Calm
If you purchased through Apple (iOS / App Store)
Open the Apple App Store → Tap your profile → Purchases → look for a Calm subscription.
The email on your Apple ID is the one tied to your Calm Premium subscription.
To access Premium, log in to Calm using the same Apple ID login option.
If you purchased through Google Play (Android)
Open Google Play → Tap your profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.
The Google account shown here is the one tied to your subscription.
Log in to Calm using that Google account login option.
If you purchased on Calm.com
Search your inbox(es) for a receipt from hello@breathe.calm.com
The email receiving the receipt is the one tied to your subscription.
Step 2: Log Into the Correct Account
Try these steps:
- Log out of the Calm app or website.
- Log back in using the email or login method confirmed above:
- Apple login
- Google login
- Facebook login
- Once logged in with the correct account, your Premium access should appear immediately.
Step 3: If You’re Still Unsure Which Email Is Correct
Try these steps:
- Search all inboxes (personal, work, school) for emails from Calm.
- Check for a receipt from Apple, Google Play, or Calm.com.
- Try logging in with any email addresses you commonly use.
- Try using the Apple, Google or Facebook Login button on the Calm app.
Step 4: When to Contact Calm Support
Reach out to Support if:
- You cannot locate a purchase receipt in any inbox.
- Apple or Google shows an active subscription, but Calm still shows locked content.
- You suspect you created multiple Calm accounts and want them merged.
- You’ve tried all login emails and still see the free version.
