How Do I Sign Up for Calm as a Kaiser Permanente Member?

As a Kaiser Permanente member, you can sign up for Calm using the following steps on our website or within the app.

Please note that if you are located in Washington State, please follow the steps under 'Redeem on Calm's website'.

Redeem in the Calm app

If you already have a Calm account, please log in on the app using your email address and password.
If you are a new user, download the Calm app for free using one of the links below and create a Calm account for free using a personal email address.

  1. Once you are logged in to the Calm app, please select Profile on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

  2. Select the gear symbol ⚙️ on the top left-hand corner of the screen. This will take you to your Settings menu.

  3. Once you see Settings at the top of the screen, select Link Organization Subscription.

  4. Type Kaiser Permanente when prompted to enter your organization's name and select Continue.

  5. At this point, you will be redirected to KP.org. If prompted, sign in to your Kaiser Permanente account.

  7. Select Continue on the next page.

Once you complete Step 7 above, you should now see a success page verifying that you have successfully redeemed Calm Premium. When you click on the Home button, the Premium content should now be unlocked inside the app. If you see an error message, please see our article here on error messages.

Redeem on Calm's website

  1. Navigate to www.kp.org/selfcareapps. (If you're a Washington state Kaiser Permanente member, click here).
  2. Click on Get Calm. If prompted, sign in to your Kaiser Permanente account. KP_photo_1.pngKP_photo_2_.png
  3. At this point, you will be redirected to Calm's website and asked if you already have a Calm account.
    • If you do not have a free Calm account, select Sign up for free, and then follow the prompts to create a new Calm account.
    • If you already have a Calm account, select Log in, and then follow the prompts to log in to your Calm account. If you have an existing Calm subscription, please click here for more information. 
  4. Congrats! Your premium access to Calm will automatically activate for the Calm account you used during Step 3. 
  5. Download the Calm app and log in using the same email address and password you've just used to create/log in to your Calm account.

Please note, this offer cannot be activated through the Calm app or through the Kaiser Permanente app. This offer must be redeemed through your kp.org account at kp.org/selfcareapps.
