Uninstalling and reinstalling your Calm app is a great way to quickly troubleshoot and fix many common glitches or performance issues.
⚠️ Before You Begin: Important Notes
Save Your Data: If you use Calm as a "Guest" and have not yet created a free Calm account with an email address, you must create an account before deleting the app. If you delete the app without an account, your session history and data will be permanently lost.
Your Subscription is Safe: Do not worry—deleting the app will not cancel your active subscription or charge you again! Your premium access is tied directly to your account, not the app installation itself.
How to Reinstall on iPhone or iPad (iOS)
On your device's home screen, press and hold your finger on the Calm app icon.
Tap Remove App (or Delete App), and confirm your choice.
Open the App Store and search for "Calm" (or tap Download Calm for iOS).
Tap the download icon to reinstall the app.
How to Reinstall on Android Devices
On your device's home screen or app drawer, press and hold your finger on the Calm app icon.
Tap the "i" (App info) icon, then select Uninstall and confirm your choice.
Open the Google Play Store and search for "Calm" (or tap Download Calm for Android).
Tap Install to download the app again.
Logging Back In Once you have successfully reinstalled and opened the app, be sure to select Log in (instead of "Sign up") to access your existing account, profile history, and premium subscription!
