If your Calm Health sponsorship through your current healthcare provider or employer ends, you will still have access to your Calm Health account and data.
What happens when my sponsorship ends?
Upon logging in to the Calm Health app or website, you will see a screen notifying you that your Calm Health sponsorship has expired. From this screen, you have the following options:
- Update your sponsorship: Add new sponsor details if applicable.
- Log out: Safely exit your account.
- Delete your account: Permanently delete your account and data.
- Convert your account: Switch to an unsponsored experience of Calm Health.
How do I update my sponsorship?
If you have a new healthcare provider offering a Calm Health sponsorship, click Have a new sponsor? and follow the prompts to update your sponsorship details. For detailed instructions, see How to Change Your Sponsor for Calm Health from Step 3.
What does it mean to convert my account?
When you convert your account, you will switch from an expired sponsorship to an unsponsored experience of Calm Health. You'll retain access to your account and data, as well as partial access to any currently enrolled clinical programs. However, some in-app features will be limited.
How do I convert my account?
To convert your Calm Health account, click the Convert Account button located at the bottom of the expired sponsorship screen. Next, you will be presented with an authorization and consent screen—confirm your consent to proceed. Once the account conversion is completed, a success screen will appear.
What happens if I delete my Calm Health account?
Deleting your Calm Health account is irreversible. You will no longer be able to access your Calm Health data and associated records. For more information, see Deleting a Calm Health Account.
