How to Download & Install the Calm App
Device Compatibility
To run the Calm app smoothly, your device must meet these minimum requirements:
- iPhone/iPad: Must be running iOS 17 or later.
- Android: Must be running Android 8.1 (Oreo) or later.
- Kindle Fire: Not currently supported.
Method 1: iPhone & iPad (iOS)
Open the App Store on your device.
Tap Search (bottom right) and type "Calm".
Look for the Blue Icon with "Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax".
Tap Get or the Cloud Icon to install.
Method 2: Android Phones & Tablets
Open the Google Play Store.
Search for "Calm".
Tap Install.
- Note: If you do not see the app listed, your device may be too old to support the latest version.
Method 3: Desktop & Laptop Computers
There is no desktop app to download.
You do not need to install anything! Simply open your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge) and go to www.calm.com to log in and listen.
Troubleshooting Download Issues
"App not compatible with this device": This means your phone's operating system is outdated. Please update your iOS or Android version in your phone settings.
"Pending" or "Waiting": Check your internet connection. Try switching from Wi-Fi to Mobile Data.
"Not enough storage": You may need to delete unused apps or photos to make room for Calm (approx. 100MB + extra for downloads).
