Calm Premium Family Plan: Pricing, Invites & Setup
Important: Not the same as Apple Family Sharing
- Crucial: Calm does NOT support Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library.
- The Fix: You must purchase the "Calm Premium Family Plan" directly from our website to share access. You cannot share a standard individual subscription bought on the App Store.
How the Family Plan Works
Web Cost: $99.99 USD / year (plus tax).
Members: 1 Admin + 5 Members (6 accounts total).
Privacy: Everyone gets their own private account. You cannot see each other's history, stats, or favorites.

Eligibility:
Household: Members do not need to live in the same household. Friends and family are welcome.
Age Requirement: All Family Plan members must be 18 years of age or older.
Managing Subscriptions
Before you buy, check your current status:

If you already have a subscription:
Buying a Family Plan does NOT automatically cancel your old personal subscription.
Action: You must manually cancel your old subscription (Apple/Google/Web) to avoid double billing.
No Pro-Rating: We cannot apply the remaining value of your personal subscription toward the Family Plan cost.
Lifetime Memberships

Is there a Lifetime Family Plan?
No. The Calm Premium Family Plan is currently available as a yearly subscription only. There is no "pay once forever" option for families.

I already have a Lifetime Membership. Can I buy a Family Plan?
Yes! You can purchase a Family Plan to share with loved ones without disrupting your personal Lifetime status.
How it works: You will become the "Family Admin." Your account retains its Lifetime status, and you gain the ability to invite 5 others to the annual plan you just bought.
How to Invite People
Purchase: Buy the plan at www.calm.com/family.
Invite: Go to Profile > Settings > Manage Subscription > Manage Members.
Copy Link: Send the unique invite link to your 5 chosen members via text or email.
Join: They click the link, log in to their own free account, and are instantly upgraded to Premium.
Troubleshooting
"Link Invalid": This usually means the member already has an active Premium subscription. They must wait for their current plan to expire before they can join your Family Plan.
"Remove Member": The Admin can remove members at any time from the "Manage Members" screen. The removed member will revert to the free version immediately.
