The Calm Health app's language defaults to English, French, German, Italian, Japanese (日本語), Korean (한국어), Mandarin (中文), Polish, Portuguese, or Spanish, based on your device's language settings. To experience the Calm Health app and content in a different language, you can update your device settings by following these steps:
iOS / Apple Users
- Open the Settings app
- Tap General
- Select Language & Region
- Tap Add Language
- Select your language 'English', 'Français', ‘Deutsch’, ‘Italiano’, '日本語', ‘한국어’, ‘中文’, ‘Polski’, ‘Português’, or 'Español' from the menu.
- Confirm your primary language and the Calm Health app will change to the selected language.
Android Users
- Open the Settings app
- Tap General Management
- Select Language
- Tap Add Language
- Select your language 'English', 'Français', ‘Deutsch’, ‘Italiano’, '日本語', ‘한국어’, ‘中文’, ‘Polski’, ‘Português’, or 'Español' from the menu.
- Set your default language and the Calm Health app will change to the selected language.
Please note: Clinical Programs available in the non-English version of the Calm Health app are not yet available with non-English audio. However, French, German, Italian, Japanese (日本語), Korean (한국어), Mandarin (中文), Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish closed captions are available for all content – just look for the speech bubble symbol when listening to a session. If a specific program you’re looking for isn’t visible, it may only be available in English at this time.
