Can I redeem a partner offer if I already have a paid subscription or active trial?
These offers are typically available only to users who do not already have an active subscription or free trial.
What happens if I try to redeem it anyway?
Ineligible users who attempt to redeem a promotional discount will receive an error message. You will not be able to redeem the offer until your current subscription or trial expires, or until you cancel it. How to Cancel Your Subscription or Free Trial
Important Note on Cancellations:
When you "cancel" a subscription (such as through Apple or Google), your Premium access does not end instantly. Instead, it runs until the end of your current paid billing cycle. You must wait for that cycle to fully expire and for your account to revert to the free version before the partner link will work.
If I redeem the partner offer, will it just add time to my current subscription?
No. Please be aware that the new partner subscription will begin separately at the exact time of the purchase or activation. It will NOT extend your current subscription's expiration date.
How to Redeem Podcast Discounts
If you heard about a promotional discount for Calm on a podcast, you do not need a special code. To redeem a podcast discount, simply use a web browser to navigate directly to the promotional web page announced on that podcast. The web address will usually be in a format similar to: calm.com/podcastname
Troubleshooting: Locked Content
I've redeemed my discounted partner subscription, but the Calm Premium content is still showing up with a locked symbol. What are my next steps?
If you successfully redeemed your partner subscription on the web but are still seeing locked Premium content (padlock icons) in the Calm app, it is highly likely you are signed into the wrong account. I was charged after my free trial ended. How do I get a refund?
If you forgot to cancel and were charged, you can submit a request for a refund here.
Important Warning: If you request and receive a refund, you will lose access to the promotion. You will not be able to redeem the offer again to purchase a yearly subscription at that same discounted price in the future.
