I am a new Calm user wanting to subscribe to Calm via Apple Podcasts.
You can sign up for a Calm Premium subscription via Apple Podcasts.
New users are able to redeem a 7-day free trial by following the steps below:
- Search for "Calm" in the Apple Podcasts app and select the Calm Channel or one of our shows.
- At the top-center of the channel, there will be a “Get Calm Premium” button and text which says “Already a subscriber?”. You will also be able to find the button if you click on any of our exclusive episodes.

Once you click on "Get Calm Premium", you will be prompted to the App Store page for Calm. Upon downloading and opening the app,
- You can create an account using your First Name, Email, and by creating a password.
- You also have the option to select from creating an account with Facebook, Apple, or Google Sign in.
- Once your account is created, confirm which subscription type you are interested in. You have the option to select a Yearly or Monthly subscription. If on a mobile device, select Continue when you’ve selected a subscription type.
- Select your payment method. Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay are available to choose from. You can also enter your credit or debit card information. When you’re ready, select Start Your Trial (if eligible) or Subscribe.
- Welcome to Calm Premium! Exclusive episodes on Apple Podcasts will now be available to play and the Calm channel will be automatically added to your Apple Podcasts Library.
I am an existing Calm user wanting to link my Calm account to Apple Podcasts.
Existing Calm Premium users have the ability to link Calm to Apple Podcasts. To link your accounts, follow the steps below:
Existing Calm subscribers via App Store
- Upon opening the Apple Podcasts app, your subscription will be automatically connected.
- Congrats! Your Calm Premium subscription will be automatically recognized and linked to the exclusive content within the Apple Podcasts app, unlocking the Subscriber Edition.
Existing Calm subscribers via Web or Android
- Search for "Calm" in the Apple Podcasts app and select the Calm Channel or one of our shows.
- At the top-center of the channel, there will be a “Get Calm Premium” button and text which says “Already a subscriber?”. You will also be able to find the button if you click on any of our exclusive episodes.
- Once you click "Already a subscriber?", it will open a web view within the Apple Podcasts app.

Log into your Calm account,
- If you created your account in the past using the email and password option, please input your credentials.
- Otherwise, select one of the 3rd party sign in options you used when you first created your Calm account. Facebook, Apple, or Google sign in options are available.
- Congrats! Exclusive episodes within the show page on Apple Podcasts will now be available to play and the Calm channel will be automatically added to your Apple Podcasts Library.
Any subscriber to Calm Premium, whether they subscribe as an individual or via their employee benefits, can link their account on Apple Podcasts and listen to all the content available on that app.
What content will be available on Apple Podcasts? What’s the difference between Calm content on Apple Podcasts and on the Calm app?
A wide selection of Calm’s Sleep Stories, meditations and mindfulness tools on Apple Podcasts are available through a variety of unique shows. We offer a large selection of free content to encourage sampling across our main content categories, though any Calm content marked “Subscription”will require a Calm subscription to gain access.
By downloading the Calm app, users can access Calm’s full range of premium content, features, and benefits, including 50,000+ hours of unique content, interactive tools like our Breathe Bubbles, personalized recommendations plus motivating features like reminders and streaks to help you maintain your progress.
I can’t find certain pieces of content on Apple Podcasts that are available on the Calm app.
For access to Calm’s entire content library, you’ll need to download the Calm mobile app or visit calm.com/app, while having an active Calm Premium subscription.
I’ve linked my existing Calm account to Apple Podcasts but my content is still locked.
The first thing to do is make sure you are signed in to your Calm account using the same login credentials you used to activate your Calm account.
- In the Calm app, tap Profile in the bottom right corner, select Settings in the upper left corner, and swipe up to confirm what email was used to create your account on the bottom of the screen.

Once you’ve confirmed you’ve located the account associated with your Calm Premium subscription,

- Apple users may have a masked email, or a Private Relay used during setup. Be sure to select the Apple sign in option when presented
- Existing Calm subscribers via Web or Android: Make sure to link the account associated with your Calm Premium subscription

Can I link my Calm account with more than one Apple ID?
No, Calm subscribers can only link their Calm account to a single Apple ID.
How does my billing work for a Calm subscription redeemed via Apple Podcasts?
Your billing will be managed by Apple, as the purchases will be made through their App Store.
What happens if I don't have a Calm Premium subscription anymore?
You will no longer have access to exclusive content on Apple Podcasts, but will still be able to listen to the free Calm content.
