This is a list of recently resolved technical issues for the Calm app. If you have experienced any of these issues recently, please manually update your app to the latest version once it becomes available in your device's app store.
Android (latest version - 7.1.2)
- Fixed an issue where the in-app global haptics on/off toggle did not include Taptivities.
- Fixed an issue where users could not progress past Day 1 of the Mindfulness for Beginners course.
- Fixed an issue where users were not able to complete the Family Plan upgrade in-app.
- This version now supports edge-to-edge screen support for Android devices.
iOS (latest version - 7.2)
- Fixed an issue where some users were unable to accept a Family Plan invite.
- Fixed an issue where autoplay/loop controls were missing on single music tracks.
- Fixed an issue where the sleep timer was not working as expected for single music tracks and playlists.
- Fixed an issue where Scene sound audio would begin unprompted.
- Fixed an issue where the "Play a Sleep Story" shortcut would not play a random title.
- Fixed an issue where session artwork in Downloads appeared blank.
- Fixed an issue where clicking on collection tiles (e.g., Daily Calm or Music Playlist) within the Recently Played carousel on Home would only play the last session, and not open the full collection of sessions to choose from.
- Note: this is a fix for the past Daily Calm sessions no longer being accessible from Home.
- Fixed an issue where My Favorites did not appear within the Sleep tab.
- Fixed an issue where the topic filter buttons were missing in the 'My Favorites' view.
- Fixed an issue where the screen would auto-lock during a Breathing Exercise session, stopping playback.
- Fixed an issue where the Sleep Check-In history list was freezing for some users.
- Fixed an issue where some session types were missing in the Recently Played carousel (Breathing Exercises, Taptivities, Open + Timed Meditations).
