How to Redeem Your Calm Gift Card
Where to Redeem
- DO NOT use the App: Gift cards cannot be redeemed inside the mobile app.
- DO use a Web Browser: You must visit www.calm.com/redeem on your phone or computer.
Step-by-Step Redemption Guide
- Go to the Website: Open your web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and visit calm.com/redeem.

Log In or Sign Up:
- Existing Users: Log in to the account you want to use.
- New Users: Create a free account.

Enter the Code: Type the code from your gift card or email.
- Tip: Codes are case-sensitive. Watch out for Zero (0) vs. Letter (O).
- Activate: Click Redeem.
- Open the App: Now, open the Calm app on your phone and log in with the same email you just used. Your Premium content should be unlocked.
Troubleshooting: "I already have a subscription"

Scenario A: You have a 1-Year Gift Card
- Problem: You cannot stack a 1-year gift on top of an active subscription.
- Solution: You must cancel auto-renew on your current plan and wait for it to expire. Once your account switches to "Free," the code will work.
- Don't worry: Gift codes never expire.
Scenario B: You have a Lifetime Gift Card
- Good News: Lifetime codes can be redeemed anytime!
- Warning: Redeeming a Lifetime code does NOT automatically cancel an existing Apple or Google subscription. You must manually cancel those to avoid double charges.
Common Errors
- "Invalid Code": Check for typos. Ensure no spaces are before/after the code.
- "Code already redeemed": Check if you accidentally applied it to a different email address.
