To support healthcare professionals and their mental wellness, TELUSHealth has partnered with VCH healthcare to offer their frontline healthcare workers a one-year subscription to Calm.
How do I sign up for Calm as a Vancouver Coastal Health employee?
On January 13th, 2022, VCH employees will receive an email from VCH’s CEO that will include a link to a VCH Intranet page. You’ll need to log in to this VCH page to retrieve your Calm Access Code. Once you’ve retrieved your Access Code, you can redeem your offer on the following page: https://www.calm.com/b2b/telus-inc-1yr/subscribe
VCH employees are able to retrieve their Calm codes until June 30th, 2022. If you have questions about accessing your Calm Access Code from the VCH portal, please contact VCH Support at email@example.com.
I already have a Calm subscription. Can I still take advantage of this offer?
Yes! If you already have a Calm subscription, we recommend waiting until your current subscription expires before redeeming your offer through VCH. Once your existing active subscription expires, you may add the new Access Code provided by VCH to your account.
In the interim, you will need to disable the auto-renew feature of your active current Calm subscription to prevent further charges. Then enter your new Access Code once your previous subscription ends. You can turn off your auto-renewal by following the steps here.
Your 1-year Calm offer through VCH will begin once you redeem the offer on Calm’s website; redeeming the offer before then will not add additional time to your current Calm subscription.
When you’re ready to redeem the Calm Access Code provided to you by VCH, and are asked “Do you already have a Calm account” - be sure to select “Yes”! This will ensure that your 1-year gifted subscription is redeemed on the Calm account that you’ve already created.
I redeemed my Calm offer through VCH, but my Calm app is still locked. What do I do next?
If you have already redeemed your Access Code, please make sure you are logged into the same Calm account used to redeem your Access Code. To log in to the Calm app, open your app and tap 'Profile.' In the Profile menu, select 'Sign up or Log in'. If your screen reads 'Create your Calm account,' please select 'Log in' at the bottom. From here, log in using the same credentials as used when you redeemed your Calm Access Code.

Will I be charged when my subscription redeemed through VCH ends?
No, you will not be charged when your TELUS and VCH-provided Calm Premium membership expires. The access will simply end and the premium content will become locked. At this time, you will be able to continue your access to Calm Premium by purchasing a subscription.
