Using Calm in the Classroom: Free Resources for Teachers
Status of the "Calm Schools Initiative"
Free Teacher Subscriptions: We are no longer accepting applications for free Calm Premium subscriptions for educators.
The New Program: Instead, we have created a suite of free, accessible resources (PDFs) that do not require a login or subscription. This ensures students and parents can access them at home without barriers.
Free Classroom Resources (No Login Required)
We offer downloadable guides that include direct links to free audio content.
-
"30 Days of Mindfulness in the Classroom"
What it is: A structured guide with age-specific lesson plans for PreK-12 students.
What's included: Daily mindfulness exercises and free access to select Calm Kids content (marked with asterisks in the guide).
-
"Self-Care Guide for Teachers"
What it is: A resource specifically for you, the educator. Includes tips for managing classroom stress and preventing burnout.
How to Use These Materials
In Class: Play the free audio tracks directly from the guide during morning meetings or quiet time.
At Home: Because these resources don't require a password, you can email the PDF (or specific links) to parents for students to use at home.
Paid Options for Schools
Individual Teachers: If you wish to unlock the full Calm library (Daily Calm, full Sleep Stories, etc.), you will need a personal Calm Premium subscription.
Districts & Organizations: For school-wide access or bulk subscriptions for staff, please check out Calm for Business.
