What is the Stress Reduction Program?
Calm’s Stress Reduction Program is the first 1-on-1 coaching program we’ll provide to help you improve your mental health. Within the coaching experience, we’ll offer you access to different programs you can engage with based on your needs. The first program we are building is focused on stress management support, the #1 issue people are dealing with today, especially in the workplace.
Does my employer offer the Stress Reduction Program?
If your employer offers Calm to you, it is possible that they also offer Calm Coaching and Calm Coaching courses. Please reach out to your employer's benefits administrator for more information on whether this is included in your employer-provided Calm package.
How long is the program?
Over 8-12 sessions, you’ll get dedicated support from a certified Calm coach, who will seek to understand your needs and give you practical tools to reduce stress and anxiety. This program gives you access to weekly virtual coaching sessions, exercises, and recommended in-app Calm content.
How does Calm keep my information private?
We understand how important privacy is to you. Calm will not share any information about your enrollment and participation with your employer. Sessions will be conducted through a telehealth platform that complies with the privacy and security standards set forth by HIPAA.
Who are Calm Coaches?
Calm Coaches are experts in mindfulness, stress & anxiety management, and sustained behavior change for health and well-being. Every Calm Coach has a masters level degree and/or a coaching certification from an accredited coaching program, with an average of >8 years of experience. All coaches complete Calm's evidence-based training based in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (CBC), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Positive Psychology.
My employer offers the Stress Reduction Management program. How do I get started?
The sign up process is simple! To set up your initial Calm Coaching appointment, click "Book your Free Session" in the email you received from sleep@coaching.calm.com. You will be prompted to answer a few questions prior to scheduling your session. During your first session, your Coach will provide an overview of the program, introduce the cognitive behavioral coaching exercises and align on program goals.
