The link is not offering me a discount. What do I do?
You may be opening the link through our app. This discount is only available on the Calm website. To ensure that you are opening the link through our website, please try the following options:
- Open the link with a desktop computer using a web browser; we recommend using Google Chrome.
- Open the link within your email on your phone by tapping and holding the link until a list of options appears. Select the option "Open in New Tab".
- Open the email through an email application such as the Gmail app and tap the link.
When I follow the link to the promotion, I'm logged in as someone else.
This can happen if you are following a link that was emailed to a different Calm user. To resolve this, please follow the link to our promotions here.
Can I purchase the yearly promotion to extend my current yearly subscription?
No. Our 50% discount on a yearly subscription is designed for Calm users who do not already have a subscription. Purchasing this offer will not extend your current Calm subscription's expiration date by 1-year; instead, it will activate a new subscription starting today, which will expire 1-year from today.

I purchased the 50% off yearly promotion and my subscription expiration date didn’t extend for an entire year!

I've just purchased this promotion but my app is still locked.
Please ensure that you are signed in to the Calm app using the same credentials used to purchase the Calm subscription. To sign in to the Calm app, tap the 'Profile' button in the bottom right corner of the home screen, and select 'Settings' in the upper right corner. Select "Sign up or Log in" and then choose "Log in" at the bottom of the page.
If you do not see the "Sign up or Log in" option, please first log out of your Calm app on that same screen.
Do I need to create a new account to redeem a promotion?
You do not need to create a new account in order to redeem the promotion. You just need to make sure you’re signed in to your existing Calm account. If you already have a Calm account and your screen reads Create your Calm account, please select "Log in". Now, you can enter your Calm account email and password to redeem the promotion on your current Calm account.
