How is a Calm for organizations different from a regular Calm subscription?
Calm for organizations offers the ability to purchase Calm for groups of 5 to 500 at a discounted rate.
By purchasing Calm for your organization, each member of your group will receive access to the full content of the Calm product. This provides the same in-app experience as an individually purchased subscription to Calm Premium.
How is Calm for organizations billed?
When purchasing Calm for your group, the payment method provided at checkout will be billed as one up-front payment for the full year. The subscription is activated immediately and set to automatically renew at the end of each annual billing period.
At this time, we only offer annual subscriptions for organizations under 501 people and cannot bill monthly.
Additionally, we do not offer billing by usage. We encourage you to survey your organization’s interest to determine the optimum number of covered lives for your plan. During the year, you can change the ownership of a specific seat or increase the number of covered lives on your subscription at any time though the number of covered lives cannot be decreased.
What payment methods can be used?
We accept ACH and most major credit and debit cards through our website, however, we cannot offer invoicing, purchase orders, or payment by check when purchasing Calm for your group.
How much does it cost to purchase Calm for your organization?
The cost is based on the number of covered lives you hope to purchase. Purchasing more will lead to a larger discount offer.

Can I do a trial before purchasing?
At this time, we do not offer trial access to the Calm Partner Portal before purchasing Calm for your organization. You can take a product tour of the Calm Partner Portal here.

When does the subscription begin? When does access to Calm begin for my group?
The subscription begins as soon as it is purchased and will auto-renew yearly until the subscription has been canceled.
After completing your purchase, you will be redirected to your Calm Partner Portal where you will be provided instructions for getting started. In the Calm Partner Portal, you will upload your list of eligible team member email addresses. As soon as the file is uploaded, those team members will be able to activate their Calm Premium access through your unique URL. You will also be offered suggestions for how to communicate the activation instructions with your team members.
People in your organization can redeem one of the seats at any time, as long as the subscription is active. The timing of the redemptions will not change the auto-renewal date of the subscription. For example, if a team member waits 3 months to redeem their seat, the auto-renewal date of the subscription will still be 1 year from the date of purchase.
Who manages the organization’s subscription and should they be included in the total number of covered lives purchased?
The person who purchases the subscription will be prompted to create an Admin account within the Calm Partner Portal. This account is automatically set as the Administrator. Once the purchase is completed, other Administrators can be added to the Partner Portal account.
During checkout, the total number of covered lives purchased should represent the total number of people who will be provided Calm as a benefit. Administrators do not need to be included in the total covered lives purchased if they will not be recipients of the benefit.
Can I change who has access to my group’s subscription in the middle of a billing cycle?
Yes, you can upload a new eligibility file at any time within the Calm Partner Portal to adjust who has access to the Calm benefit. This option allows you to add or remove multiple team members at once. The members who are no longer on the eligibility file will lose access to Calm at the end of the current month. New members on the eligibility file will be able to activate their Calm Premium access using your unique URL immediately. Please note that if a new eligibility list exceeds the number of purchased covered lives on your plan, you will be prompted to adjust your plan.
You can also remove team members from your eligibility file at any time on the "Users" tab in your Partner Portal account. To remove a team member, click the red "-" button next to the team member in question. Note that this option allows you to remove only one team member at a time.
Can I add additional covered lives later in the year?
Yes, Partner Portal Admins are able to add additional covered lives at a prorated rate from within the Calm Partner Portal. Please note that you will not be able to decrease the number of covered lives once the purchase is complete.
Does my organization’s subscription automatically renew?
Yes, the subscription is set to renew annually. Auto-renewal can be disabled at any time from within the Calm Partner Portal.
Can I see how my group is using Calm? Do you offer analytics?
Your Calm Partner Portal includes aggregated data on how your group is using Calm, including sign-up rate, engagement rate, the type of content most often listened to, and more. For a full product tour of the Calm Partner Portal, click here.

Are there any 'setup fees' when purchasing Calm for my group?
No, we do not have setup fees.
Do you offer nonprofit discounts?
No, we do not offer any additional discounts as this product is already at a discounted rate.
Do I receive access to the Microsoft Teams integration with my purchase?

Does Calm for organizations include access for dependents?
Yes, this product includes Calm Premium access for dependents. You can learn more about how to grant subscription access to dependents here.
Where is Calm available?
The Calm app can be downloaded in any country that has the Apple App Store or Google Play Store available. Please refer to Apple and Google for countries in which their products are supported.
The Calm website is available everywhere you have a solid Wi-Fi connection or data connection.
