Calm with Meta

Owners of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses who are NEW to Calm will be eligible to redeem a 3-month Calm free trial in the Meta View app.

How to redeem

To redeem your Calm Premium subscription in the Meta View app, please follow the redemption steps below:

Android users

1. In the Meta View app, tap the Settings icon in the bottom right, and select the Calm offer.
2. Tap the “Redeem” button on the Calm offer listed. Tap “Redeem” once more.
3. You will be redirected to the Meta redemption page. Log in to your existing Calm account, or sign up for a free Calm account if you don’t already have one. 
4. Next, you will be asked to enter your credit card details to sign up for this offer. 
5. Congrats! Once you’ve submitted your payment details successfully, your premium access to Calm will be active.
6. Download or open the Calm app on your device, logging in with the same credentials as you used in Step 2. 

iOS users

1. In the Meta View app, tap the Settings icon in the bottom right, and select the Calm offer.
2. Tap the “Redeem” button on the Calm offer listed. Tap “Redeem” once more.
3. You will be redirected to the App Store and prompted to install the Calm app. You may be asked to sign in with your Apple ID to complete the installation. 
4. Once the Calm app has been added, tap “Redeem Offer” and then double-click the power button on your device to complete the redemption. 
5. Next, tap “Open Calm” to log in to your existing Calm account or sign up for a free Calm account if you don't already have one.
6. Congrats! Your premium access to Calm will automatically activate for the Calm account you used during Step 5. 

How do I use Calm with my Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses?

You can stream Calm from your phone to your smart glasses, and control audio playback using touch and voice controls. 

To connect Calm to your smart glasses:

1. From the Meta View app, tap the Settings icon in the bottom right.
2. Tap Calm.
3. Tap Connect Calm.

Touch controls

You can use the following gestures on the touchpad of your smart glasses to control audio playback.  The touchpad is located along the side of the right glasses arm. 

• Tap once to pause or play audio.
• Swipe forward to turn the volume up.
• Swipe back to turn the volume down.

Voice controls

If you’ve enabled voice controls in the Meta View app, you can use your voice to play Calm Dailies and control playback.

Start by saying “Hey Meta...”

• “Play Calm.”
• “Pause.”
• “Play the Daily Jay.”
• “Play the Daily Calm.”
• “Play the Daily Move.”
• “Play the Daily Trip.”

When you close your glasses, audio streaming will be paused. When you reopen the glasses, they will reconnect to your audio source via Bluetooth.

What happens after the free trial period ends?

Your yearly subscription will renew automatically at the regular subscription rate.
