What are Calm Coaching Courses?
Note: If you are a Sierra Nevada employee and are participating in Calm’s Stress Reduction Program, please click here for details of your program.
Calm Coaching Courses are personalized 6-12 week training programs designed to help you achieve specific health goals around stress, anxiety, and/or sleep. You’ll work 1:1 with an expert Calm Coach throughout the duration of the program, with the option to schedule several live 1:1 video sessions and the ability to receive ongoing text support between sessions. You’ll receive a personalized, goal-based plan and access to evidence-based content and tools to help facilitate lasting behavioral change.
During the initial Calm Concierge appointment with a Calm Coach, you’ll determine together whether or not you’d be a good fit for the 6-12 week Calm Coaching program.
Does my employer offer Calm Coaching?
If your employer offers Calm to you, it is possible that they also offer Calm Coaching Concierge and Calm Coaching courses. Please reach out to your employer's benefits administrator for more information on whether this is included in your employer-provided Calm package.
Who are Calm Coaches?
Calm Coaches are experts in mindfulness, stress & anxiety management, and sustained behavior change for health and well-being. Every Calm Coach has a masters level degree and/or a coaching certification from an accredited coaching program, with an average of >8 years of experience. All coaches complete Calm's evidence-based training based in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Positive Psychology.
My employer offers Calm Coaching courses. How do I get started?
First, set up a Calm Coaching Concierge appointment by clicking "Book your Free Session" in the email you received from email@example.com. During this session, your Coach will assess if you are a good fit for the 6-week program and send you next steps.
Can I just sign up for a Calm Coaching Course, without also setting up a Calm Coaching Concierge appointment?
Unfortunately no - you’ll first need to meet with a Calm Coach during a Concierge appointment who will assess whether or not you may be a good fit for the 6-week Calm Coaching program.
