We love to hear about families meditating together. Children emulate their parents - that’s how they learn. So, if they see their parents meditating and observe their parents communicating in a calm, non-reactive way, then they will pick up those qualities.

A child’s age influences how they should be introduced to meditation, because of their stage of mental and emotional development. In the Kids section of Calm, which is available both in our app and on our website, we have a whole range of sessions designed for children as young as four and all the way into high school.
